Arik Johnson is Chairman of Aurora Worldwide Development Corp., the strategic, market and competitive intelligence firm he founded and led as CEO from 1995-2009. In 2010, Arik redesigned his role into an R&D leader under the auspices of the Centres for Open Reconnaissance, Aurora’s collaborative innovation think tank. Arik is the originator of the Superiority Analysis strategy framework, the Angles of Attack growth programming system and Control Factor Theory, concentrating on translating insights into action to maximize outcomes and results. In 2008 he was elected to the worldwide Council of Competitive Intelligence Fellows and has also served as a board member of SCIP 2005-2009. He recently released a book about his professional life, ideas, family memoirs and experiences together with his brother Derek, Aurora’s current CEO who is also a longtime CI Fellows leader, called The Missionary & The Mercenary - Right Questions, Better Future.
