A long-time pracademic who bridges academia and practice, his professional leadership includes serving as President of an international strategy association (SCIP), a Canadian corporate affairs leadership organization (CCPAA), Trustees Chair of a US 501c3 association (CI Foundation), Editor-in-Chief/Deputy Editor of an international scholarly journals (Journal of CI & Management, Journal of Public Affairs), Chief Analytics Officer, a university research leadership chair, and trusted contributor to public and private sector boards.

A proud Katz Graduate School of Business Ph.D. graduate and alumni association board member of the University of Pittsburgh, Owen Graduate School of Management MBA graduate (Vanderbilt), and BSBA (Florida) holder, Craig remains active on graduate faculties, including the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) where he collaborates with colleagues in the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, Institute for Health & Humanity, Division of Epidemiology & Social Sciences to instruct, serve on doctoral and masters research committees, support, develop courses, and mentor graduate health and medical students. He was recognized by the MCW Graduate School as an Outstanding Educator Award winner in AY 2024/25. He is also a trustee, affiliate faculty member, course director, and scholarship donor at Mercyhurst University. He also develops courses, instructs, and supports applied intelligence research in the School of Intelligence, Computing, and Global Politics (ICGP).

An internationally acclaimed, peer-reviewed authority and world's top-cited Google Scholar in subjects such as business and competitive analysis, managing corporate and public affairs, and applied intelligence, Craig has authored or edited 17 books for major international publishers like FT Press, Pearson, Praeger, Prentice Hall, SAGE, Springer and over 250 published scholarly works for peer-reviewed journals or serials. As an advisor, he gave strategic policy, program and practice (p-cubed) guidance used by leaders in scores of the globe's most respected brands such as 3M, AmEx, BHP, Boeing, CIBC, ExxonMobil, GE, GM, GSK, IBM, J&J, Levi Strauss, Merck, Novo Nordisk, Pfizer, Philips, P&G, UHG, UPS & US Bank.

A Founder and past ExCom member of the Council of CI Fellows and International. Assn. of Business & Society (IABS), Craig is SCIP's only Canadian Meritorious Award winner in strategy and competitive insights, a Public  Relations and Communication Association Fellow (FPRCA), and International. Assn. of Business Communicators (IABC) 500 Club life member. A former B-School dean, 2x endowed university research chair holder, MBA program director and tenured (full) professor, he serves/-ed as a leader of graduate faculties, executive cabinets, accreditation teams, dissertations and theses, research tenure promotion, and ethics review boards.
