Academics and Learning

When it comes to the development of theory and practice, the CI Fellows have extensive experience.

We continue to have an array of academics and “pracademics” in our Fellowship, all of whom work to further scholarship and excellent of in the competitive intelligence field.

Education is one of the key pillars of the Council of Competitive Intelligence Fellows and we have a committee focused on the following:

  1. Developing a universally accepted core curriculum of Competitive Intelligence in partnership with Academic Institutions.

  2. Creating and maintaining a universally accepted Competitive Intelligence Body of Knowledge and engaging other communities as appropriate.

  3. Ensure that Competitive Intelligence is taught, understood, and integrated into other business functions through partnership with other business-related associations

Why it Matters

As we continue to build on the scholarship of the past, we evolve methods and techniques, especially as technology and other factors continue to shift the world around us, opening new doors of study and opportunity.
