PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.”

HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We use the information that we collect generally to:
- Fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations, and sending information and updates regarding your purchase);
- Communicate with you (including responding to your inquiries, address you requests, or contacting you regarding your purchase);
- Send you emails regarding news or information regarding the Council, its services, or products;
- Conduct data analysis in developing, enhancing, or improving our Site, products, or services
- Screen for potential risk or fraud; and
- When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.
We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.
SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We do not sell, trade, or rent your Personal Information to others. We may use third party service providers to help us operate our business and the Site, as described above, or administer activities on our behalf, such as sending out newsletters or surveys. We may share your information with these third parties for those limited purposes, if you have given us your permission. Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.
You may opt out of our sharing your personally identifiable information with third parties by contacting us using the Contact Us form on this Site or via instructions in the Contact Us section of this policy. If you decide to opt-in to our mailing list, you will receive messages that may include the Council’s news, updates, product or service information, etc. You may also opt out of receiving promotional or marketing communications from the Council by following instructions unsubscribe at the bottom of each email. If you opt out of promotional or marketing messages, you may continue to receive communications regarding administrative, services, or your account/profile matters.
As a safeguard, we may implement requests with respect to the Personal Information associated with the particular email address that you use to send us your request or that you specify in your communication. Additionally, we may need to verify your identity before implementing your request. We will respond to your request within 1 month.
If you would like more information about your Personal Information or would like to correct, amend, remove, or limit the use or disclosure of any Personal Information about you that has been collected and stored by us, please notify us by using the Contact Us form on this Site or via instructions in the Contact Us section of this policy. We will consider and respond to your request in accordance with applicable laws.

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the Personal Information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their Personal Information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information. When you submit information through the Site, we will maintain information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.
When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.
The Site is intended for intelligence practitioners and users, and not intended for individuals under the age of 18.
